Wesley Fellowship Schedule of Activities

Schedule:

(From the Sunday before Classes start in the Fall (end of August) through the end of Spring Semester  - when CU classes are In Session ( see: http://www.colorado.edu/academics/calendar.html ).  
- We meet about 3-4 times in the summer for movies, hikes, games, etc.)

 

* Sunday Night Worship 5PM 

       - with FREE Supper afterward!  (Musicians practice Sundays at 3:30PM, feel free to join in!)


* FREE YOGA! (for CU & Naropa Students)  Mondays, 6:00-7:30 PM   Authentic Raja, hatha, vinyasa flow yoga taught by yogi Brian Saeger - one of the best instructors in Boulder!    Open to beginners-advanced.  Bring your own mat if you have one (we have extras if you don't).  This is straight yoga - but the focus is on attaining inner peace and self-acceptance.  Come relief your stress and get grounded!  Namaste!  

** 1st Monday of Each month is OPEN MIC Night! 7:45PM!!

Mosaic Gospel Choir! Wednesdays at 7PM


Centering Prayer (Christian meditation/"quiet time with God") Wednesdays in the Lounge at Wesley Chapel 11:15 AM-Noon


"Soul Food" Lunches!  Wednesdays at Wesley Chapel, Noon- 1PM.  BYOL or enjoy hearty soup and bread, and good Christian fellowship!

"Discipleship" Bible Study - Thursdays 5:30PM,
bring your own supper!  (or use our kitchen : )


* "Alternative Spring Break!"  

We alternate between domestic and international locations to roll up our sleeves, pound nails, and put our faith into action!  Spring Break 2007 had us going to Guatemala! In 2008 we went to New York City and Washington, D.C. to address hunger and homelessness.  In 2009, we installed a well and water system for a school in Portoviejo, Ecuador. In 2010, we helped repair a house on Galveston Island  damaged by Hurricane Ike. In 2011, we'll be building additional family housing for a university in San Jose, Costa Rica.  In 2012, we'll be building adobe homes in Haiti.


Faith in Action (community service) opportunities such as serving food to needy persons, helping with Habitat For Humanity projects, etc. 


Other events such as Movie nights, Game Nights, Nights on the town, Hikes, Skiing, etc. and more!
